2025 marks the 40th year in business for KTS. As we think about the past four decades, we reflect on the many changes we have encountered in that time. Most notably, the huge leaps technology has made for all of us. We’ve navigated our way from a time before the Internet and cell phones to a time when most people cannot do their jobs without either.
But, through the years, there is one thing that hasn’t changed for us: the partnerships we build. Those human connections are a vital part of our business. When we work with our customers, sometimes they need other resources to complete a project but don’t know who to call.
For example, we were working with a customer who manufactures renewable energy products. KTS was installing the wiring for their security system and discovered the customer was going to rely on an Internet search to find a security company. We have trusted partners in the security industry, and we were easily able to recommend one of them to handle our customer’s security system.
In another example, we were installing wiring for an IT department. Working with their IT professionals, we were able to identify needs that had not previously been addressed. It was far more cost effective to get what they needed in place rather than waiting for them to realize it down the road. We were able to introduce them to a partner company here, as well.
As we work on projects and bring in partner companies, we pride ourselves on the integration of work and coordinated handoffs. Projects become more efficient and cost-effective for our clients, while ensuring that the most capable people get the work done.
